The company currently has six manufacturing facilities and two joint ventures in China, employing more than 1,500 people. Valmont also has a research and development center in Shanghai, where it collaborates with local universities and institutes to develop innovative technologies and solutions.

“We have been investing in China to enhance our local production capacity, quality control, customer service and technical support. We have also been developing new products and solutions tailored to the Chinese market and customers,” Kaniewski said.
