Medi-Moses CEO receives prestigious award for his influence in Ghana

The CEO of Medi-Moses Herbal Clinic and Prostate Centre, Dr. De-Gaulle Moses Dogbatsey, has been honoured as one of the 100 most influential personalities in Ghana for his remarkable contributions to the health and wellness sector. He received the award at the Business Executive Awards ceremony held at the Marriott Hotel in Accra on December 18, 2023.

A plant medicine specialist with a vision

Dr. Dogbatsey is an award-winning plant medicine specialist (pharmacognosist) who has been providing authentic herbal products and services to various communities for the past 30 years. He is also the founder of the renowned Medi-Moses Herbal Clinic and Prostate Centre, which offers holistic and natural solutions for prostate health and other chronic diseases.

His vision is to become the best herbal and prostate centre in Africa, and he has been working tirelessly to achieve it. He has also been advocating for best business practices and ethical standards in the herbal medicine sector, as well as promoting research and innovation in plant medicine.

A role model and an opportunity creator

The 100 Most Influential People Award (MIPA) is organised by the Business Executive, a pan-African events management and media organisation, to recognise the top 100 Ghanaian entrepreneurs who have made exemplary achievements and groundbreaking contributions to the nation over the years.

The awardees were selected through a rigorous process that involved nominations, research, and approval by a jury of 12 experts on socioeconomic, political, corporate, cultural, and diplomatic matters in Ghana.

Dr. Dogbatsey was presented with a plaque and a citation that praised his influence on the growth and development of Ghana and its people. The citation stated that he has not only served as a role model, but also created the opportunity for millions of Ghanaians to become the best they can be.

A humble and grateful recipient

Dr. Dogbatsey expressed his gratitude and excitement for the recognition, which he said was a testament to his team’s hard work and dedication. He dedicated the award to his supportive wife, Mrs. Juliana Dogbatsey, his staff, and his customers, who have been loyal and faithful to his brand.

He also thanked the organisers of the award for acknowledging his efforts and achievements, and pledged to continue to work hard to serve God and country. He said he was overwhelmed by the honour and the milestone, which he described as a priceless achievement.

A leader among leaders

Dr. Dogbatsey was among the 100 distinguished personalities who were honoured at the event, which included the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin, the Director-General of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), Professor Amin Alhassan, former Minister of State, Hon. Hackman Owusu Agyeman, former Chief Executive Officer of Metropolitan Television (Metro TV) in Ghana, Talal Fattal, CEO of EIB Network, Nat Kwabena Anokye-Adisi, popularly known as Bola Ray, labour consultant Austin Gamey, and many other notable figures.

The event was attended by dignitaries, business leaders, media personalities, and civil society representatives, who celebrated the achievements and contributions of the awardees. The event also featured musical performances, cultural displays, and networking opportunities.
