Strengthening Hospitality Skills: USAID’s “Unity is in Diversity” Program Empowers Entrepreneurs

Within the framework of the USAID program “Unity is in Diversity,” a dynamic training course recently unfolded, aimed at bolstering the skills of small and medium-sized businesses in the field of hospitality. The participants? Ethnic and religious minorities residing in four regions of Georgia: Kvemo Kartli, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Zemo Adjara, and Pankisi Valley. These individuals, deeply engaged in the hospitality sector, either run family hotels, cultivate farms, or operate small businesses.

A Holistic Approach

The training course seamlessly blended theoretical and practical components. Participants delved into essential topics, including customer service, marketing strategies, and sustainable practices. By fostering knowledge exchange and hands-on learning, the program equips entrepreneurs with the tools needed to thrive in Georgia’s diverse hospitality landscape.

Unity Through Diversity

Implemented by the United Nations Association of Georgia, the “Unity is in Diversity” program transcends mere business training. It embodies the spirit of inclusion, bridging gaps between ethnic and religious communities. As these entrepreneurs enhance their skills, they contribute to a more cohesive and resilient Georgian society.
