Tata Motors Sales: Demand for electric vehicles in India is increasing day by day. Tata Motors is one of the leading sellers of electric cars in India in particular. Large companies are now promoting the use of electric vehicles beyond individual users. As part of this, it has received an order from Bluesmart Electric Mobility, the largest rental car company, to deliver 10,000 XPRES-T EV units. This is the highest number of ordered electric cars in India.
Bluesmart Electric Mobility has already purchased 3500 Xpres-T cars from Tata Motors and is currently ordering 10000 cars. Tata Motors will soon start delivering cars.
Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, said, “Tata Motors is taking serious steps towards the rapid electrification of the movement and it is a great pleasure to see the renowned online rental car company joining our green wave.” The taxi service provider is Bluesmart Electric Mobility, headquartered in Gurgaon.
Bluesmart has covered 50 million kilometers without pollution, bringing 1.6 million zero-emission rides. The company also said it was trying to create a large-scale integrated EV mobility environment in India, ranging from the country’s largest full-electric Right Hailing service to the largest network of EV charging super hubs.
In July 2021, Tata Motors launched the XPRES brand, exclusively for Fleet customers and the XPRES-T EV was the first vehicle under this brand.
