City officials are taking measures to address gun violence
The rising gun violence in Atlanta has prompted city officials to take various measures to address the issue and protect public safety. Some of these measures include:
- Hiring more police officers and increasing patrols in high-crime areas. The city has allocated $70 million for public safety initiatives, including $5 million for police recruitment and retention bonuses.
