Wreaths Across America Mobile Exhibit Honors Veterans in Jonesboro

The Wreaths Across America (WAA) organization, renowned for placing over 2.7 million veterans’ wreaths at more than 3,700 locations nationally and abroad on National Wreaths Across America Day, extends its mission beyond a single day. As part of its year-round commitment to Remember the fallen, Honor those who serve, and Teach the next generation, the Mobile Education Exhibit (MEE) arrives in Jonesboro, Georgia.

A Community Gathering

The MEE, a 48-foot exhibit, serves as a bridge between local communities, military personnel, and their families. Inside, visitors find a 24-person screening room showcasing WAA’s mission through video. Interactive computers provide information on locations, trucking supporters, and wreath sponsorships. An education wall highlights different aspects of WAA and its future endeavors.

The MEE also serves as an official “Welcome Home” location for our nation’s Vietnam Veterans, fostering connections and understanding.

A Moving Experience

Through interactive exhibits, short films, and shared narratives, the MEE brings history to life. Visitors can tour the mobile museum, gaining insights into the service and sacrifices of our heroes. Veterans, active-duty military, families, and community members are encouraged to participate, learn, and engage. The MEE embodies the spirit of remembrance and gratitude.
