Leadership Southeast Georgia (LSEGA) has unveiled its Class of 2025, a dynamic group of professionals selected from the region’s 10 coastal counties. Representing a variety of industries, this cohort is set to make a significant impact on the growth and quality of life in Southeast Georgia.
A Cohort of Diverse Talent
The Class of 2025 brings together leaders from sectors such as education, government, private business, healthcare, real estate, law, and even the military. Each participant is uniquely positioned to contribute their expertise to regional development efforts.
Cecilia Arango, LSEGA’s program manager chair and board member, expressed her admiration for the group. “I am truly impressed by the diverse backgrounds and professional expertise within this group. The networking and relationships cultivated through LSEGA will undoubtedly have a profound impact. We have high hopes for what the Class of 2025 will achieve.”
Among the standout members are Dr. Annalee Ashley of Georgia Southern University and Rachel Barnwell of the Development Authority of Bulloch County. Both bring extensive leadership experience and a passion for enhancing Southeast Georgia’s communities.
A Five-Month Leadership Curriculum
From February to June 2025, the class will engage in an intensive five-month program designed to prepare them for the challenges and opportunities of community leadership. Participants will explore key regional issues, sharpen their leadership and communication skills, and develop a deeper understanding of Southeast Georgia’s unique dynamics.
The program is structured to encourage collaboration and networking, allowing members to form strong connections that will serve them well beyond their time in the program. By the end of the curriculum, participants are expected to emerge as more informed and empowered leaders, ready to address the region’s pressing needs.
