Smoore pledges to stop dealing with underage vape brands

Smoore, a global leader in atomization technology and the parent company of FEELM, has announced that it will not do business with any vape brands that target underage consumers or violate the laws and regulations of their respective markets. The company said that it is committed to exploring the harm reduction potential of vaping and ensuring the safety and quality of its products.

Smoore’s statement comes amid growing concerns about the illegal sale of e-cigarettes to minors and the proliferation of illicit vapes that may contain harmful substances. According to a report by Asian Trader, a business and industry magazine, the UK government has recently launched a new enforcement squad to crack down on shops selling vapes to under-18s and to seize counterfeit and unregulated products. The report also cited a survey by the Trading Standards Institute, which found that illegal vapes are the biggest threat on the High Street, as many of them are sold in mobile phone shops, gift shops and convenience stores.

Smoore said that it has always adhered to the highest standards of safety and quality in its atomization technology, which is used by many leading vape brands around the world, such as RELX, Vuse and NJOY. The company said that it has developed a comprehensive safety assessment system, which covers all the tests required by the US FDA’s Premarket Tobacco Product Application (PMTA) process, as well as the risk assessment guidance of the US EPA. The company also said that it has conducted several scientific researches on the health effects of vaping, in collaboration with academic institutions such as Tongji University and the University of California, San Francisco.

Smoore also expressed its support for the industry standards drafted by the Electronic Cigarette Industry Committee of China Electronic Chamber of Commerce (ECCC), which aim to regulate the technical specifications and safety requirements of electronic atomization devices and e-liquids. The company said that it hopes that these standards will help to promote the healthy and orderly development of the vaping industry and to protect the rights and interests of consumers.

Smoore’s announcement was welcomed by many vape advocates and experts, who praised the company for its responsible and ethical approach to the vaping market. They said that Smoore’s decision to stop dealing with underage vape brands will help to prevent youth access to e-cigarettes and to reduce the harm caused by smoking. They also said that Smoore’s investment in scientific research and innovation will contribute to the advancement of vaping technology and the improvement of public health.
