The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been at the forefront of humanitarian efforts in Ukraine, providing crucial support amidst the ongoing conflict. Through a combination of financial aid, relief supplies, and diplomatic mediation, the UAE has demonstrated a strong commitment to alleviating the suffering of those affected by the crisis. In addition to food and medical supplies, the UAE has provided over 1,015 tonnes of relief materials, including 7,500 laptops and 10,000 school bags to support the education of Ukrainian children. Recognizing the harsh winter conditions, the UAE has also delivered 4,520 electric generators to combat power outages and 50 fully-equipped ambulances to bolster Ukraine’s healthcare system.

The most recent exchange in August 2024 saw the liberation of 230 individuals, marking a significant achievement in the ongoing efforts to resolve the conflict.
