Ranveer Singh Goes Full Beast Mode in Dhurandhar: The Revenge Trailer

Jio Studios just dropped the first trailer for Dhurandhar: The Revenge and Bollywood is already on fire. Ranveer Singh is back as the deadly undercover agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi, and this time he’s out for blood in what looks like the biggest, angriest, and most explosive Hindi spy thriller ever made.

The two-minute-forty-second trailer opens with a single gunshot in the dark, then cuts straight to Ranveer’s blood-soaked face as he whispers, “Ab sirf badla baaki hai.” The internet lost its mind within minutes.

Ranveer Singh Plays Two Men, One Mission

Ranveer returns in dual roles – the ruthless Indian agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi and his Karachi cover identity Hamza. The trailer shows him switching between the two personas in seconds: one moment he’s the polished ISI asset sipping whisky with generals, the next he’s a one-man army tearing through Lahore streets on a bullet-riddled bike.

Fans are already calling it the most intense performance of his career. One scene shows him dragging a burning body across the floor while screaming in Punjabi – the theatre erupted in cheers during the preview screening last night.

Bigger Cast, Deadlier Stakes

R. Madhavan steps in as the cold-blooded strategic mastermind Ajay Sanyal, giving chilling “chess master” energy in every frame. Arjun Rampal plays the brutal ISI Major Iqbal with a scar running down his eye, while Sanjay Dutt roars back as the no-nonsense SP Chaudhary Aslam, promising to “bury every traitor six feet under.”

Akshaye Khanna continues as the RAW chief with ice in his veins, and Aditya Dhar has confirmed that the entire original gang is back, only meaner.

Action That Breaks the Internet

The trailer is packed with sequences never seen before in Hindi cinema:

  • Ranveer jumping off the 23rd floor of a Karachi hotel with a parachute made from a Pakistani flag
  • A 360-degree long take of him fighting 18 men inside a moving train
  • Hand-to-hand combat on top of a speeding goods carrier in Punjab fields
  • A brutal interrogation scene where he breaks a man’s fingers one by one while smiling

Cinematographer Vijay Kartik Kannan has shot the film in real locations across India, Pakistan (through doubles), Dubai, and Azerbaijan. The scale is visibly three times larger than the first part.

Box Office Monster Already Loading

The first Dhurandhar shocked everyone by crossing ₹650 crore worldwide to become the highest-grossing Hindi original ever. BookMyShow crashed for 22 minutes right after this trailer dropped tonight. Advance booking frenzy has already started in several cities even though the film releases only on September 11, 2026.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted minutes after the launch: “Dhurandhar: The Revenge is not a film, it’s a tsunami waiting to hit the box office.”

Ranveer Singh himself posted on Instagram with the caption: “Jaskirat is not coming back… he never left. #DhurandharTheRevenge.”

The country has only one question tonight: Can anything stop this film from smashing every record in the book?

Drop your favourite moment from the trailer in the comments and tag your squad – this is the one we’re all watching together on opening day. Use #DhurandharTheRevenge and let’s make it trend worldwide tonight!
