The Lopota Cup 2024 has wrapped up after four thrilling days of amateur tennis matches, showcasing talent and sportsmanship. Supported by the Lopota Spa Resort, this year’s tournament featured an impressive prize fund of GEL 35,000, drawing tennis enthusiasts from across the region to compete and celebrate their love for the sport.

A Showcase of Talent

The tournament not only highlighted the skills of the players but also fostered a sense of community among tennis lovers. The prize money, along with various gifts from sponsor companies, was awarded to the top performers, with winners receiving beautifully crafted prize cups designed by sculptor Irakli Tsuladze.

    • First Place: Tarash Kikaleishvili (GEL 7,000)
    • Second Place: Zviad Kalmakhelidze (GEL 5,000)
  • Women (Category A, Veteran Players):
    • First Place: Tinatin Turmanidze (GEL 3,500)
    • Second Place: Chachkhunashvili (GEL 2,000)
  • Women (Category B, Amateur Players):
    • First Place: Ana Ramazashvili (GEL 3,500)
    • Second Place: Salome Lomadze (GEL 2,000)
  • Doubles Teams (Pro-Am):
    • First Place: Teimuraz Shengelia and Teimuraz Gabashvili (GEL 7,000)

In addition to the competitive spirit, the tournament also recognized Khatia Gogaladze, the winner of the 2023 Lopota Cup, who received a special gift of GEL 4,000 from Sarajishvili and VR Holding for her impressive performance as a semi-finalist in this year’s edition.

Founded by Goga Maisuradze, the Lopota Cup has a rich history, having resumed in 2022 after a brief hiatus.
