Drew High School in Riverdale, Georgia, is organizing a football recruiting event on February 10, 2024, to showcase the local talent and connect them with college coaches. The event is open to all high school football players in Clayton County and surrounding areas who are looking for an opportunity to play at the next level.
A chance to impress college coaches
The football recruiting event will feature drills, skills, and scrimmages that will allow the participants to demonstrate their abilities and potential to the college coaches who will be in attendance. The event will also include a seminar on academic eligibility, financial aid, and the recruiting process.
The event is sponsored by the Drew High School Football Booster Club, which aims to support the football program and the student-athletes. The club’s president, Mr. James Smith, said that the event is a great opportunity for the local players to get exposure and recognition.
“We have a lot of talented football players in our community who deserve a chance to play at the college level. This event will give them a platform to showcase their skills and get noticed by the coaches who can offer them scholarships and opportunities. We are excited to host this event and we hope that it will benefit the players and the coaches alike,” Mr. Smith said.
A diverse and competitive pool of players
The football recruiting event is expected to attract a diverse and competitive pool of players from different high schools and backgrounds. Some of the players who have registered for the event are:
