- David Johnson, a sophomore wide receiver from Forest Park High School, who caught 50 passes for over 800 yards and 10 touchdowns and was selected to the all-county first team.
- Kevin Brown, a senior linebacker from Jonesboro High School, who recorded 100 tackles, 10 sacks, and 5 interceptions and was voted the county’s defensive player of the year.
