Visa has appointed Cristina Doros as Senior Vice President, and Group Country Manager for Visa in the CISSEE region. Cristina will lead Visa’s operations and strategy in 17 countries across Southern and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Ukraine, Moldova. With over 20 years of experience at leading financial institutions, Cristina joined Visa in 2016 to lead regional Core Products team overseeing Core products (Debit, Credit and Premium), loyalty platform development, digital solutions, and push payments. In 2019-2021, Cristina took the role of Visa Regional Manager in the Caucasus, then continuing overseeing business in Central Asia.

Cristina Doros is a seasoned leader and mentor who supports team development and promotes a culture of recognition. She has held various positions in the payment solutions and business development sectors at Visa, including:
- Leading regional Core Products team overseeing Core products (Debit, Credit and Premium), loyalty platform development, digital solutions, and push payments.
- Taking the role of Visa Regional Manager in the Caucasus from 2019 to 2021.
- Taking over the management of Visa’s business in Azerbaijan and Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan) from June 1, 2021.
