The Clayton Eagles Adaptative Sports Program is a remarkable program that empowers people with disabilities to participate in various sports and activities through adaptive equipment, training, and coaching. The program has been competing in the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Final Four, which is a prestigious event that showcases the best of high school sports in Georgia.

The Clayton Eagles have secured their spot in the Final Four by competing against the West Georgia Wolverines in wheelchair basketball on Saturday, March 2nd, at 11:00 AM. The game will be held at the Clayton Eagle’s home court, affectionately known as “THE EAGLES NEST”, located at the former Lovejoy Middle School.

The Eagle’s Nest is a unique and inspiring venue that provides a safe and supportive environment for the Clayton Eagles and their opponents. The Eagle’s Nest was formerly a middle school that was closed down due to COVID-19, but it was transformed into a sports complex that can accommodate various adaptive sports and activities.

The Clayton Eagles Adaptative Sports Program is not only a great example of athletic excellence and community support, but also a great example of resilience, courage, and inclusion. The program has been operating since 2010 and has served over 200 participants from different backgrounds and abilities. The program aims to inspire, educate, and empower people with disabilities to pursue their passions and achieve their goals through sports and recreation.
