Emilee Rio, a senior on the Cicero-North Syracuse (C-NS) girl’s soccer team, has been playing soccer since she was four years old. She was inspired by her older sister, Marissa, who also played soccer in college. Emilee said that she and her sister used to compete with each other on the field, but also supported each other’s growth.

Emilee has been a varsity player since her freshman year, and has earned many awards and recognitions for her skills and performance. She is a midfielder who can score goals, create chances, and defend well. She is also a team captain who leads by example and motivates her teammates.

Emilee has committed to play soccer at Marist College, a Division I school in New York. She said that she chose Marist because she liked the coach, Nicole Pacapelli, and the campus. She also said that she wanted to continue playing soccer in college because it is her passion and her way of expressing herself.

Emilee plans to major in biology and pursue a career in the medical field. She said that she is interested in helping people and learning about the human body. She also said that she hopes to balance her academic and athletic responsibilities well.
