A Boost for Georgian Entrepreneurs
The EU4Digital Facility, a flagship initiative funded by the European Union, has introduced a free online course titled “eCommerce in EU Marketplaces” under its new EU4Digital Academy program. This course aims to empower individuals and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Georgia by equipping them with essential skills to navigate EU eCommerce platforms successfully.
Available in Georgian and English, the course is self-paced and promises to make EU marketplace entry more accessible to Georgian sellers.
Comprehensive Training for All Skill Levels
At 10 hours in length, the course is designed to cater to both beginners and experienced online sellers. Key modules include:
- Selecting the most suitable marketplaces for products.
- Registration processes for platforms like Amazon, eBay, and eMAG.
- Understanding EU VAT and customs regulations.
These practical lessons make it easier for participants to expand their businesses into the EU market.
EU-Verified Credentials Add Value
One standout feature of the program is the EU-verified micro-credential badge awarded upon course completion. Participants can showcase this badge on their CVs and social media profiles, adding credibility and signaling their readiness to engage with EU eCommerce markets.
