Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business Visits Taiwan for the First Time

The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, one of the leading business schools in the world, has made its first-ever visit to Taiwan, hosted by TutorABC, the largest online English learning platform in Asia. The visit, which took place from December 15 to 17, 2023, aimed to foster academic and cultural exchange between the two institutions, as well as to explore potential collaboration opportunities in the future.

  • A welcome reception and dinner at the Grand Hyatt Taipei, attended by over 100 guests, including Tuck faculty and staff, TutorABC executives and employees, Tuck alumni, TutorABC learners, and representatives from the media and the education sector.
  • A campus tour and a lecture at the National Taiwan University, where Tuck faculty shared their insights and expertise on topics such as leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship, with over 200 students and faculty members from the College of Management.
  • A business forum and a networking event at the Taipei 101, where Tuck faculty and alumni, TutorABC executives and learners, and other business leaders and professionals discussed the trends and challenges of the global business environment, and exchanged ideas and best practices on how to succeed in the digital age.
  • A cultural excursion and a farewell dinner at the National Palace Museum, where Tuck faculty and staff, TutorABC executives and employees, and Tuck alumni and learners enjoyed the rich and diverse heritage of Taiwan, and celebrated the friendship and partnership between the two institutions.

The visit was a great success, as it not only enhanced the academic and cultural exchange between the Tuck School of Business and TutorABC, but also opened up new possibilities for future collaboration. Both institutions expressed their interest and enthusiasm in continuing the dialogue and exploring the potential areas of cooperation, such as joint research projects, student exchange programs, and executive education courses.
