GGC seeks innovative ideas for country’s development

The Gharany Group of Companies (GGC), a leading business conglomerate in Afghanistan, has announced that it is ready to provide capital to Afghans who have good business plans for the development of the country. The group is seeking business plans from the people who have workable ideas but cannot implement them due to financial problems.

GGC chief Ahmad Yar Gharany told Pajhwok Afghan News that he wanted to encourage and support the entrepreneurial spirit of Afghans inside and outside the country. He said that anyone could share their business plans and innovative entrepreneurship ideas with GGC for evaluation by a special committee.

GGC to provide capital based on profit and loss sharing agreement

According to Gharany, the interested individuals, whose proposals are approved by the committee, will be invited to negotiations. When selected, they will be provided with capital based on an agreement on the sharing of profit and loss between the parties.

Gharany said that the most important thing for him was a good business plan that was viable and in accordance with the conditions in Afghanistan. He said that he was not looking for any specific sector or industry, but rather for ideas that could create value and employment for the country.
